I hear it all the time. “I’d love to write a book, but I’m too busy.” I get it, too. It’s a huge undertaking and can seem daunting, but let me ask you this: Do you have time NOT to publish a book?
You see, once that book is published you have a piece of art that’s going to keep drawing people into your space over and over again for a lifetime. Write it once and it’ll keep working on your behalf while you sleep, relax in the spa or dance like a chicken on one leg. It will help you to create time!
Imagine if 100 people were to read your book in a month. Now think about this- if you were to get on a sales call with each one of those people and allocated enough time to be able to talk them through everything you’ve covered in your book.
Let’s say that would take 6 hours each to deliver all of that value. That’s 600 hours of your time!
Do you want to spend 20 hours a day for 30 days talking on the phone? And then to do that on a constant loop for the rest of your life? Of course not, and I imagine there’s no way in the world you’d even think of spending 6 hours on a phone call in the first place. It’s a ridiculous thought!
But your book can do that work for you…
Every time your superstar client is picking up your book, assuming it’s written in the right way, they will become more and more absorbed into your world and your teachings. Just like when you are talking to people on the phone or face to face, some will resonate with it and others will not- that’s OK.
Out of every 100 to read your book fully, how many do you think will connect with you and come into your space?
Of those, how many do you think would opt in to your offers, whether they are ready now or at any point down the line?
How much time is it taking you at the minute to be converting those clients?
Think about it! And while you do that, I’m going to work on my next book. I don’t have the time NOT to.
